The guest house we stayed at turned out to be brilliant. Nestled in its own grounds in the forests around Betws-Y-Coed, it was ideal. Returning each day from our walking, we were greeted by the owners with tea and cake on the lawn. It was lovely sat in the peace and quiet watching rabbits grazing and two Woodpeckers helping themselves to the the regular 'fat balls' and scones put out to feed them.

The guest house is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone visiting this area. Gwen and John are a lovely friendly couple who cant seem to do enough for their guests. The rooms are comfortable but the grounds make the place, especially when the weather is good as it was when we were there.

The hacky sack warm down could have been better. Clearly this was a toy my team mates had not come across, but it did provide a few laughs and no twisted ankles.
